Badam milk is a tasty and nutritious drink. Made with milk, almonds, and a few basic ingredients
Needed Ingredients
- 30 to 40 almonds (badam)
- one liter milk without water
- 1/2 cardamom power
- 6 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
- A few safforn strands
- 1/2 cup warm water
Steps to make Badam Milk
Step 1: Soak the almonds and peel them
- Soak the almonds in the warm water for one hour
- Peel of the skin after it has soften
Step 2: To make almond past
- Blend the peeled almonds with the milk to make a crushed paste
Step 3: Boil the milk
- Add a milk to a pan on medium flame
- stir frequently to avoid burning
Step 4: Add Almond paste
- Add almond paste to the boiling milk and boil on a medium flame until it get half
- Stir frequently to avoid lumps
Step 5: Add sugar and flavours
- Add sugar and boil for 5 minutes
- Adding safforn, soak it in a warm milk for a minutes and then add it to the mixture
- add cardamom power mix it well and off the stove
Step 6: Serve
- Keep Badam milk in a refrigerator for 2 hours
- Pour into a glass add some crushed Almond and few saffron strands and serve it
