How to make Badam Milk

Needed Ingredients

  • 30 to 40 almonds (badam)
  • one liter milk without water
  •  1/2 cardamom power
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • A few safforn strands
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Steps to make Badam Milk

Step 1: Soak the almonds and peel them

  • Soak the almonds in the warm water for one hour
  • Peel of the skin after it has soften

Step 2: To make almond past

  • Blend the peeled almonds with the milk to make a crushed paste

Step 3: Boil the milk

  • Add a milk to a pan on medium flame
  • stir frequently to avoid burning

Step 4: Add Almond paste

  • Add almond paste to the boiling milk and boil on a medium flame until it get half
  • Stir frequently to avoid lumps

Step 5: Add sugar and flavours

  • Add sugar and boil for 5 minutes
  • Adding safforn, soak it in a warm milk for a minutes and then add it to the mixture
  • add cardamom power mix it well and off the stove

Step 6: Serve

  • Keep Badam milk in a refrigerator for 2 hours
  • Pour into a glass add some crushed Almond and few saffron strands and serve it
