Mutta Mittai is a very famous sweet in South India made with eggs, sugar, palkova, almonds, and ghee. It is beloved among both adults and children for its soft, melt-in-your-mouth quality.

Needed Ingredients
- 45 almonds
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 200 g unsweeten palkova
- 6 eggs
- 200g sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom power
Steps to make Mutta Mittai

Step 1: Prepare Almond Past
- soak almonds in a water for 6 hours or overnight
- Peel the skin and grind the almonds with little amount of milk until it becomes smooth paste
Step 2: Add palkova, ghee and Almond paste
- Add palkova and ghee and almond paste to a bowl
- mix well
Step 3: Add Eggs, Sugar and Cardamom Power
- Add egg one by one to the mixture and mix well
- add sugar and cardamom power
- mix everything well to combine
Step 4: Cook on Stove
- Convert the mixture to a pan and cook on low flame
- Stir continuously until it thicken
Step 5: Bake in the oven
- Pour the mixture to the ghee greased pan
- spreadly add some chopped almonds
- bake at 160C/320F for 30 to 40 minutes
- if you don’t have oven, bake it in a cooker on a low flame for 30 to 35 minutes
Step 6: Cut and Serve
- After taking it from the oven or cooker, let it cool
- Spread little amount of ghee on top for extra taste and to soften
- cut into square pieces and enjoy your Mutta Mittai
